Active Lifestyles & Wellness

Continuing Care Retirement Communities
	Riverside’s three CCRCs provide independent living, assisted living, rehab and nursing care all on one campus. Click to learn about Warwick Forest, Patriots Colony at Williamsburg or Sanders Retirement Village.

Riverside Wellness & Fitness Centers
	Our fitness centers offer classes, cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights, indoor tracks, pools, tennis, racquetball, personal training and weight loss classes, backed by the experience and resources of Riverside Health System.

Residential Care

Assisted Living Residences
	Residents enjoy their optimal level of independence in private apartments with supportive services including 24-hour staffing and emergency response, medication assistance, three daily meals, housekeeping, activities and scheduled transportation.

Care Residences (Convalescent Centers)
	For those requiring 24 hour nursing care, our well-trained staff provides compassionate health services in a comfortable setting that residents call home.

Memory Support Programs (Alzheimer's Care)
	Our expert staff provides support for residents experiencing the effects of Alzheimer’s or other related memory disorders within our secure, specialized neighborhoods.

Post-hospital Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation Centers
	For those recovering from illness, injury or joint-replacement surgery, Riverside’s Rehabilitation Centers are focused on returning you to your normal routine at home following 7 to 14 days (on average) of skilled nursing and therapy.

Rehabilitation Institute
	Riverside Rehabilitation Institute is anaccredited physical rehabilitation hospital offering in-patient recovery following serious injury, stroke, amputation and neurological conditions.

Community and In-home Services

Adult Day Services
	We assist families by providing compassionate daytime health services and social opportunities for their aging family members at Riverside’s licensed day center in Denbigh.

Home Health
	Specially-trained nurses, aides and therapists provide supportive medical services and therapy in patients’ homes.

Hospice
	For those with a terminal diagnosis of six months or less, our compassionate staff works closely with families to provide support, personal care and pain management in the patient’s home.

Lifeline Emergency Response System
	Subscribers wear a pendant or bracelet with a button to call for help in an emergency 24 hours a day/365 days a year. Available throughout Richmond and Eastern Virginia.

PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly)
	This unique program manages all care, medications, therapy and physician services for nursing-home eligible seniors who want to remain living at home. Participants can enjoy activities and social programs at the PACE Centers.
