While Riverside has many rehabilitation services and facilities, not all services are right for each patient. Your doctor may recommend that you use several services throughout your rehabilitation.
Riverside Rehabilitation Institute (Acute Rehabilitation)
Located on the banks of the James River, Riverside Rehabilitation Institute provides the Peninsula and surrounding communities with a complete range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. It is the largest dedicated rehabilitation hospital in Virginia.
Riverside Rehabilitation Centers (Subacute Rehabilitation/Skilled Nursing)
Short-term inpatient rehabilitation services are provided throughout the area so you can recover from surgery, illness or joint replacement surgery close to home.
Riverside Home Health services are designed to allow you to recover from surgery or illness at home.
Physical therapy is provided by Riverside specialists at one of our outpatient centers conveniently located throughout the Peninsula and Middle Peninsula.
