Michael S. Hooker, M .D.
Dr. Hooker earned his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Tripler, Hawaii and a shoulder and elbow fellowship at Royal North Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Hooker served 11 years in the US Army before entering private practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Hooker treats a wide range of orthopedic disorders and holds a particular interest in shoulder and elbow surgery, ACL reconstruction, shoulder replacement, arthroscopic and open surgery, and elbow disease, as well as sports medicine and sports related injuries.
