If surgery is necessary, our surgeons use minimally invasive surgery also called arthroscopic surgery as much as possible. But there are some shoulder and elbow conditions where the minimally invasive approach isn't appropriate. In this case, your surgeon may recommend arthroplasty or open surgery.
