J. Doswell Dutton

In 2009, J. Doswell Dutton, a prominent Gloucester businessman, left a generous monetary gift to Riverside Walter Reed Hospital (RWRH). The gift was used to establish the RWRH Make a Difference Fund. Riverside will honor the memory of Mr. Dutton by making him the namesake of a new family care center.

The J. Doswell Dutton Family Care Center will provide a home like atmosphere with comfortable and convenient accommodations for families to stay close to loved ones while in the hospital for an extended period of time.

Gifts can be made on a one time basis with a check, money order or credit card. You may also choose to use our pledge plan and, if you are a Riverside employee, payroll deduction is available. By making a gift at one of our special gift levels, you will be entitled to an engraved message on the Riverside Walter Reed Hospital Make a Difference Sculpture permanently displayed in the
hospital lobby.

There are many ways to help support programs and patient care at Riverside. For some, it is time set aside; for others, it is financial resources; or still others, it is a combination of both. We truly appreciate all gifts made to benefit Riverside Walter Reed Hospital as we continue to provide high quality healthcare to the residents of the Middle Peninsula.
