Riverside pioneered the wellness movement over 20 years ago with the opening of its first wellness and fitness facility in Newport News, Virginia. Today, Riverside successfully operates facilities in Newport News and Gloucester, Virginia, where local citizens and members take advantage of state-of-the-art equipment, quality programming and educational offerings. Our centers successfully blend traditional fitness with preventive care --- such as health assessments and health improvement classes --- and on-site rehabilitation for cardiac and physical therapy patients.
Each facility offers a variety of cardiovascular and strength-training systems, group exercise classes, classrooms and more. Some facilities offer indoor and outdoor tennis, and aquatic programs.
