Become a Volunteer

VolunteerVolunteering with Riverside Regional Medical Center is a very rewarding experience with many opportunities. As a volunteer, you will interact and assist with patients, become a part of a great hospital family, and work with others to help make a difference in our community. Our volunteers work with the public, assist visitors around the hospital, or aid members of the healthcare team throughout the hospital.

Generally, we schedule your work schedule based on your availability and the number of hours you wish to devote to the hospital and our patients. As a volunteer with Riverside, you are in control of your hours.

Junior Volunteer Program

Each summer, Riverside Regional Medical Center invites local teens to experience the world of healthcare as junior volunteers. The Junior Volunteer program is an 8 week program open to students who are between the ages of 14 (by June 15) and 17 and meet the minimum requirements of the application process. The Jr. Volunteer Program application process is a competitive one. Applications are accepted from March 1 through May 31. Students must be in good academic standing, have parental permission and attend mandatory orientation.
