For nearly 90 years, people have turned to Riverside when they were faced with a medical emergency, when they welcomed a new arrival to the family, or when they required state-of-the-art testing or treatment for cancer, heart disease or another health problem. Today,
Riverside Regional Medical Center is in the midst of a five-year major redesign that will allow us to better meet the future medical needs of our citizens.
Emergency/Trauma Center. Our new 37,000 sq. ft. center features 42 private treatment areas, digital imaging equipment and a staff that is helpful and compassionate. Our new design focuses on providing prompt, efficient care without sacrificing the excellent quality you expect from Riverside.
Renovations. Improvements are occurring to units throughout the existing medical center. Even the appearance of the hospital has changed, featuring a completely new look, with the addition of the elevator tower and new exterior.
 | | Central Tower. This building will include the addition of approximately 320,622 square feet of space above the new Emergency/Trauma Center. A new operating suite, a day surgery unit, new critical care units, a new mother/baby unit, additional private rooms and easier access to outpatient services are all part of this next phase of Riverside's expansion. |
Traffic and Parking. The construction of a new 600 space parking structure, pedestrian sidewalks and new access roads will make it easier and more convenient to come to Riverside Regional Medical Center, whether you're seeking treatment or visiting a loved one.
We're sincerely grateful that you've allowed us to care for you in the past and look forward to continuing to care for you during these exciting and challenging times.
