• When Kenneth arrived here following surgery for a malignant brain tumor, he could not walk.  His conversation was very confused.  He now walks and does stair climbing.  His conversation is usually quite clear.  He is aware of his surroundings and is most anxious to return to his home to continue his recovery.  The entire staff has been extra caring and professional.
• Prior to coming here my mother couldn't even get in a wheelchair - now she is sitting up and walking with a walker.  All the staff members did a great job.  My mother was not the easiest patient to deal with, but the nurses were very patient.
• Everything you did far exceeded our expectations.  We are so impressed with the facility and especially the staff.  Mrs. Taylor doesn't know what you could have done better for her.  She is so thankful to everyone.
• Therapy was excellent - worked well with me - checked on me - I felt I was important to them - they cared if I succeeded - it was a priority to them.  The whole nursing staff was great and did their best to rehabilitate me.
• My daughter came in from Texas one night about 11:30 and my daughter had nowhere to go and they let her sleep in my room.  I was so speechless that they let her do that.
• I've been through other therapies in the past - working with the therapists here made me feel more comfortable doing the exercises - it wasn't boring or hum-drum, good communication with the therapists - having an open mind when arriving and knowing what I might expect from my visit here, I was comfortable from the beginning!
• The quality of your staff was excellent.  They picked me up, put me to work and continuously motivated me that each day was better than the last.  This within itself far exceeded what I thought would happen.  I thank you all.
• Nice clean facility, prompt attention. No one was rude even when doing the "stinky" jobs, didn't make you feel humiliated or embarrassed. No one seemed bothered by the many repeated "stupid questions. Everyone was so kind and helpful, that was a very pleasant experience to have almost all females helping and no one was snippy or moody.  Wonderful Staff!
• In every way I was surprised at the friendly, family community and total dedication to everyone's success and improvement.  I cannot imagine how anyone could have possibly done better.  Each of your staff should be commended.  My greatest kudos to the ones who pushed me and made me a better man and whom I will never forget.
• My husband and I have been away from home and family for 56 days today - we have a son - 7 years old - that has not had mom and dad also in those days - your staff made a weekend possible for the three of us to be together again - It was a lot of doing but never seemed to mind, actually just happy to please us - that weekend was the best medicine for my husband and for us too.  Thank you for that!!  Love all the therapists!!  Real motivators!  Very structured!  Thank you!!
• Your staff was very pleasant in response to assistance.  There was always a smile and a definite willingness to help no matter your request. Encouragement was given by all along with laughter to help through the most difficult periods of PT, OT and general ADL's.  All of the nursing staff was caring and loving - willing to help.  I've had an excellent experience here.
• Your staff had me on my feet within my three weeks stay.  I learn to walk and do personal things for myself.  Encouragement was great.  A wonderful staff, from the aides, nurses and OT and PT sessions.  Everything was done on a timely timeframe and very effective.  Thanks for all that you did for my recovery.
• Each staff member has a very positive attitude which is a win/win situation for the patient.  Every morning you are greeted with a positive environment.  Your staff is exceptional.
• On admission our goal was to be able to stand and transfer from chair to chair.  With the help of your staff my mom can walk the length of the hall, eat with utensils and has more confidence with her ADL's.  We are very satisfied with her care.  It has been a miracle to us.  Everyone on the 3rd floor has been wonderful.  The therapists are excellent, professional, friendly, encouraging and very knowledgeable.
• The family guest center - "Carpenter Center" was excellent for "me", the wife of the patient.  The commitment and dedication of physical therapists, nurses, speech pathologist, dieticians, custodians and psychologist.  All therapy employees, nurses and aides have been efficient, pleasant and willing to assist any way they could.
• I did not expect everyone to be so very caring, helpful and fun.  Working in the gym was enjoyable because all of the PT's urged us on.  We clapped for one another no matter how small our progress.  Our therapists were always upbeat and smiling.  I love them.
• All staff members were professional and caring.  I believe they sincerely cared about my well-being and their encouragement and support certainly helped me during this very scary and frustrating turn in my life.
• My stay at Riverside was an excellent experience.  The atmosphere was excellent and clean and bright.  The best facility I've been in in yrs!  The food was excellent too!  Far cry from other facilities!  The evening snack was very nice.  Everyone on staff not only was helpful - they were kind to me at all times.
• When we arrived she could not do anything for herself.  After a short while she was feeding herself.  All the aides went out of their way to do anything she asked.  We have been very impressed with all the staff here and we are truly grateful.
• I am certain I would never have progressed to the degree I have without this wonderful program!  All members of the team from aides to nursing/OT/PT, were always available, positive, encouraging and helpful.
