Hugh Bryan, III, MD
Dr. Bryan graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Letterman Army Medical Center. Dr. Bryan has a special interest in knee and hip replacements, sports medicine, knee and shoulder arthroscopy and a wide variety of hand surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Bryan is also board-certified in sports medicine. After the completion of the American College of Sports Medicine's Team Physician course, Dr. Bryan served as the team physician at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid NY in 2002. He is the team physician for Gloucester and Mathews High Schools and for Christchurch School.
Dr Bryan enjoys the uniqueness of orthopaedic surgery. With over two decades of experience in Gloucester he has done many different types of procedures for patients of all ages and enjoys the personalized care that a small town orthopaedic practice offers. He considers it a privilege to be able to help people improve their function and their lives.
Andrea Crawford, MD
Dr. Crawford graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her residency at MCV. She is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Crawford chose orthopaedics as her specialty because she feels she can have a positive impact on the quality of life for her patients. She works with patients on general orthopaedic care and encourages them to stay active and exercise. "You can't live like you are 90 and feel like you are 20. Workout!"
Married with two grown children, Dr. Crawford enjoys running, biking and kayaking and is an active Ruritan.
