Patient Information

Office Hours
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For after hours, please call (757) 838-5055. In case of an emergency, please call 911 or go directly to the Riverside Emergency Department.

Appointments
We see all patients on an appointment basis and ask that you call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. There may be times when an emergency arises and your wait time could be extended. Unfortunately, we never know when emergencies will occur. We will give our patients the option to reschedule for the next available appointment.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please call our office at (757) 838-5055 to cancel and reschedule your appointment. Please try to give us 48 hours notice so that the time may be given to another patient.

Fees and Payments
Payment is expected at the time of service unless arrangements have been made with our staff prior to your appointment.

Insurance and Self Pay
If you have insurance, please bring your insurance information with you to your first visit. Most plans include co-insurance, a deductible and other expenses, which must be paid by the patient. If you have questions regarding your coverage, please ask a member of our business office staff and we will work with you to find the answers. Self-pay patients are requested to pay at the time of service.

This office is required by federal compliance laws to report services based on documentation in the medical record. If you discover a bona fide billing error, duplicate charge or other posting errors, we welcome you to bring the matter to the attention of our business office staff for investigation and proper corrective action. As you know, coverage and payment amounts vary greatly by payer. If you have questions about your coverage, it is best to check with the benefits representative of your insurance company.

Prescriptions and Refills
All prescriptions and authorization for renewals should be requested during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Prescription requests will be taken during regular business hours and will be processed within 48 hours.
