Renato G. Gata, Jr. M.D.
Dr. Gata graduated from De La Salle University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in 2007. Dr. Gata is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
After completing undergraduate studies at the College of William &Mary, Dr. Gatzke earned her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed VCU's Chesterfield Family Practice Residency Program. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
When every medical school rotation and specialty appealed to her, Dr. Gatzke decided that her calling was family medicine, a field with an all-encompassing diversity that she loves and believes is important today. With a focus on women's health, smoking cessation and dermatologic procedures, Dr. Gatzke's medical philosophy revolves around educating and empowering her patients to take control of their health.
A true local, Dr. Gatzke grew up in Gloucester as the daughter of a teacher and a U.S. Army serviceman who recently lost his life to lung cancer. In elementary school, she met her husband Michael, now an Army veteran and member of the Air National Guard. The couple has two young children, Saoirse and Sullivan. Dr. Gatzke enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, reading and fictional writing.
Laura E. McAleer-Leavey, M.D.
Dr. McAleer-Leavey, MD graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine and competed her residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in 1997. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
