Beth Scharlop, MD FACOG
Dr Beth Scharlop joined Womancare in 1989 and she has continued to treat women and girls of all ages. A graduate of Clark University, she received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Scharlop is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Scharlop enjoys all aspects of gynecology. Her special interests include pediatric and adolescent gynecology, genital dermatology, sexual dysfunction, menopause, and women's wellness.
She serves on several community boards and is active in supporting Hampton Roads Arts through her participation with the Virginia Arts Festival and the Virginia Peninsula Jewish Film Festival. She is an avid traveler, Jazzerciser, and beach walker.
Dr. Scharlop and her husband, Dr. Roger Schultz , have two grown children, a daughter and a son.
