Riverside Behavioral Health Center, an established mental health care provider in Hampton Roads since 1983, provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents and adults on an outpatient or inpatient basis. The facility became part of Riverside Health System in April 2000.

Crisis situations often demand options that are immediately available. Riverside provides 24-hour, 7-day a week free, confidential comprehensive assessments and referral assistance for psychiatric and chemical dependency problems. The Admissions team includes Masters prepared clinicians who are mental health professionals, experienced in assisting individuals, families and professionals.

Riverside Behavioral Health Center is conveniently located at 2244 Executive Drive in Hampton, Virginia on a private 11.6-acre campus. The hospital is a 147-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (Residential and Adult Services) Office of Licensing, and the Department of Health and Human Services Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
