New hospital is framed out

Doctors' Hospital is taking shape as steel beams frame the $72 million building. Peter Brown, project manager for Turner Construction Co., said the next step is pouring concrete to begin closing in the structure and laying the second floor. The goal is to have full enclosure and much of the exterior done by May. Brown said construction is scheduled to be done by year-end to open in the first quarter of 2013.
