Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital is setting equipped to treat patients with complex medical conditions which otherwise would not thrive in a lower level of care.  Some examples of complex medical conditions are:

• Multi-system organ dysfunction
• Active infectious disease requiring prolonged treatment
• Acute or chronic condition exacerbation with delayed recovery at a lower level of care.
• Cardiac dysfunction requiring active treatment or cardiovascular assessment every four hours

Treatment will include:

• Total parental nutrition
• IV Medications
• Pain Management
• Contact isolation
