About Your Telephone
The telephone in your room is free for local use.

To Dial A Hospital Department:

• Dial the 4-digit number for that department

To Dial Other Patient Rooms:

• Dial 8 and the 3-digit room digit

To Dial A Local Call:

• Dial 9 for an "outside line' and then the 7-digit telephone number

To Dial Long Distance:

• Dial 0 for the hospital operator.  Long distance calls must be billed directly to a credit card or charged to a third number (like your home). If you are using a calling card, please have the long distance carrier "1-800 number" ready for the hospital operator. We cannot charge long-distance calls to your hospital bill.
