September  - Hunger Action Month: Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital and Riverside Rehabilitation Institute continue to participate in a food drive of nonperishable food items which will be donated to the Peninsula Food Bank.  Collected 62 pounds of food over the last couple of months.

October - Mayflower Marathon Food Drive: HRSH/RRI donated several bags of food and $60 cash for the Annual Mayflower Marathon.

January 2017 - Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital quarterly Senior Forum will be January (TBA)11a - 1 p.m.  This free community event is for seniors and/or caregivers of seniors. This event puts you face-to-face with local resources.  For more information contact: Amber Morgan, LPN at 757-534-9764.
