Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital is a 25-bed long-term acute care hospital, peacefully located on the beautiful waterfront of Newport News on the Virginia Peninsula. Our specialty hospital cares for patients who have medically complex conditions that require acute care over an average stay of 25 days.

January - Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital and Riverside Rehabilitation Institute participated in a food drive and collected over 139 lbs. of nonperishable food items which was donated to the Peninsula Food Bank on February  3, 2016. GREAT JOB TEAM!

February - Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital and Riverside Rehabilitation Institute are collecting tuna for the DayTUNA 500 food drive.  All staff are encouraged to bring cans of tuna throughout the month of February with a goal of collecting 500 cans by February 29 for donation to the Peninsula Food Bank.

April  - Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital quarterly Senior Forum will be April 26th at 10am - 1pm.  This free community event is for seniors and/or care givers of seniors. This event puts you face-to-face with local resources.  For more information contact: Teresa Setterholm, RN at 757 594-3699.
