Ingredients
DirectionsIn a large saucepan over high heat, combine the water, ginger and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the mint, and let steep for 5 minutes. Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, placed over a pitcher, pressing down lightly on the ginger and mint. Discard the mint and ginger. Stir the honey into the tisane. Serve hot or iced, garnished with a lemon wedge. © 1998-2013 Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research (MFMER).
