2009 Grant Cycles
It has always been important for the Riverside Health System Foundation to adapt our response to changing community needs. As a result of the current economic conditions faced by our country and our community we plan to continue our role as a nonprofit leader while working to ensure we have the ability to support our community and its needs for many years to come. In doing so, we will be changing our grant making opportunities for 2009.
Our spring grant cycle, which began on January 12th, will be carried through the full process for review in May 2009. If you have already been accepted for a full proposal submission you will be notified in May of the RHSF Board of Directors decision with regards to your application.
For the remainder of 2009, our priority will be to sustain our support of committed multi-year grantees and their work to impact the health care needs of our community. We will be unable to make grants to new projects or organizations or increase our level of support of our current grantees.
Despite the current economic conditions and changes to our 2009 grant cycle, the focus and fundamental character of the Riverside Health System Foundation remains the same. We are committed, determined and dedicated to making a difference in the health, welfare, and quality of life for all who live in the communities we serve.
