A healthy way to start the day

I got into a habit that lasted for a long time of not eating breakfast. Weekday mornings in my house were usually a hectic time of people getting ready for work and school so breakfast was the easy thing to leave out. But it seemed like I was always reading something about how important a good breakfast was so during the past year I got up a little earlier, did a little more prep at night and strongly suggested that everyone else get more organized. The result of eating a real breakfast, usually some cereal and fruit, has been that I've actually lost weight because I don't head off hungry and I also seem to have more energy during the day. I know that something as basic as eating breakfast isn't exactly news, but it's made a difference for me that I feel every day.
