Adding PINK to October's Fall Colors

MHLbMy Healthy Lifestyle brings Riverside team members interesting and useful information to support better health and wellness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Riverside is the proud sponsor of a number of events included in this issue. You'll also learn about how easy it is to trade out one food item for a healthier but still delicious alternative, along with some thoughts about eating locally grown and sustainable food as part of National Food Day this month. There's the second part of our discussion on balance, with the conclusion featuring some special exercises to support better balance as you age. Daniel Ballin talks about one man's approach to dietary change in Thoughts from the Chair. And don't forget to check out the employee tip on exercising outdoors during the shorter days of fall and winter. It's all here in your October My Healthy Lifestyle newsletter, celebrating the month that brings in all the traditional fall colors as well as PINK.

While some of this information is offered directly in your online newsletter, you'll also find links you can access for more details. Our hope as you receive your My Healthy Lifestyle newsletter each month is that you will not only read it but respond to it. To offer comments and ideas for future issues, please contact Daniel Ballin at daniel.ballin@rivhs.com.
