Team members and their spouses can take part in a medical weight loss program at a significant discount between now and May 31 as part of a collaboration between our My Healthy Lifestyle Employee Wellness Committee, Riverside Weight Loss Specialists and Riverside Wellness & Fitness Centers.

Whole Food Programs

Medical_Weight_LossThese programs include a low-calorie diet of whole foods (non-processed or minimally-processed) that you provide under program supervision. In combination with exercise and behavior modification, these programs focus on nutritionally dense meals and snacks in the right portions to provide the healthy fats, fiber rich carbohydrates and lean proteins your body needs to lose weight.

1. Weigh 2 Health Whole Food Program

This program is designed for individuals who are on track to accomplish their weight loss goal using the benefits of whole foods. Monthly enrollment includes:

  • Monthly visits with your medical weight loss physician. This will be billed to your insurance. Co-pays and coinsurance will apply.
  • Bi-weekly visits with your dietician
  • Monthly visits with our exercise specialist
  • Weekly body composition analysis
  • Free tote bag, pedometer, tape measure, food journal, and recipe book
  • Support Group

2. Weigh 2 Health Whole Food Program with Personal Training

Like our basic whole foods program (see #1 above), this option is designed for individuals who are motivated to lose weight using whole foods but who are also looking to jump start or improve their fitness program. In addition to the features of the basic program, this variation includes two months membership in the Riverside Wellness RISE (Rehabilitative Introduction to Supervised Exercise) program which focuses on improving:

  • Strength
  • Endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Balance and overall health and quality of life

The two-month full facility membership in a Riverside Wellness & Fitness Center available with this weight loss and exercise option includes a fitness assessment and two to five group personal training sessions per week with an exercise physiologist.

Meal Replacement Programs

In the meal replacement programs, a variety of supplement foods are provided through the program. These foods have been shown to be an effective tool to help you achieve your weight loss goals and include an assortment of delicious, hot and cold entrees, drinks, soups and breakfast choices that are easy to prepare. A large choice of snacks, including salty and sweet treats, are also provided.

3. Weigh 2 Health Meal Replacement Program

Some individuals need a more prescribed eating plan. Our meal replacement programs offer a structured routine along with medical support. In consultation with a Riverside Weight Loss Specialists physician and dietician, this program enables you to plan personalized and delicious meals that meet your specific goals and lifestyle. Although there is a fee for the food that replaces what you normally eat, most participants find that their grocery bills are lower. Monthly enrollment in the meal replacement program includes:

  • Monthly visits with your medical weight loss physician, billed to your insurance (co-pays and coinsurance will apply)
  • Bi-weekly visits with your dietician
  • Monthly visits with your exercise specialist
  • Weekly body composition analysis
  • Free tote bag, pedometer, tape measure, shaker cup, food journal, and recipe book
  • Support Group
  • Seven day meal replacement plan that includes 40 shakes (or substitute puddings or soups), eight meal entrees and 28 snacks
  • 25% discount on additional food products while enrolled

4. Weigh 2 Health Meal Replacement Program with Personal Training

This exercise and fitness improvement option offers all the features of the basic meal replacement program (see #1 above) with the addition of two months membership in the Riverside Wellness RISE (Rehabilitative Introduction to Supervised Exercise) program which focuses on improving:

  • Strength
  • Endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Balance and overall health and quality of life.

The two month full-facility membership in a Riverside Wellness & Fitness Center that weight loss and exercise option offers includes a fitness assessment and two to five group personal training sessions per week with an exercise physiologist.
