I have a clinical background and I'm aware of the pharmacological options as well as the therapy, the books, the speakers and basically the whole industry that's directed to helping people reduce Simplethe stress and anxiety in their lives. So just reminding ourselves to focus on the positive may seem pretty basic, but it might be one of those cases where the simplest approach may be one of the most effective.

What I do, when I feel a lot of stress is to take a minute and reflect on the things in my life that I appreciate. That includes my family and friends but I think it's also important to think about our own positive qualities and gifts. I try to breathe deeply and focus on what's working well in my life. Again, it's a simple strategy, but it really can help keep things in perspective.
