2013 Benefits Enrollment:
All benefits-eligible employees (full-time, part-time, and pay partial) need to complete Online Enrollment by logging on to Employee Self Service (ESS). You can log on to ESS from any Riverside network computer or enroll from home by going to http://employees.riversideonline.com, the secure employees site and entering the password. If you don't know the password, contact the HelpDesk at (757) 534-7104.
2013 Health Plans
Riverside will continue the following health plans with no plan design changes:
- Riverside CareAdvantage PPO
- Anthem HealthKeepers 25/30 HMO
- Lumenos High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
Your 2013 Rate Information is available through Lawson Employee Self Service-Benefits. While we believe the Riverside CareAdvantage PPO has the greatest value for most team members, you also can choose from our two other existing plans, Anthem HealthKeepers 25/30 HMO and Lumenos HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan).
2013 Prescription Drug Changes
EnvisionRxOptions administers Riverside's prescription drug plans for Riverside CareAdvantage PPO and Anthem HealthKeepers HMO 25/30.
Please see Prescription Drug for details on changes for Riverside CareAdvantage PPO and 25/30 HMO plan participants:
- Some drugs will be added to Step Therapy.
- Nexium, Crestor, and Exalgo will move to Tier III, which will result in a copayment change from $35 to $55.
- Some over the counter preventive drugs will be covered under preventive care with a prescription.
- Women's Preventive Care has been added in accordance with the Affordable Care Act.
Riverside CareAdvantage Partner 340(b) Specialty Drug Program:
This program allows participants and their covered dependents to access the same specialty maintenance medications (typically costing more than $600/month) that they are currently taking while eliminating the co-payment!
- Beginning 1/1/2013, specialty drug users will be required to use Riverside Pharmacy Services for their specialty drug needs except for those drugs that cannot be purchased by Riverside Pharmacy Services.
Lower Rates for a Healthy Lifestyle
2013 is the first year that we will use biometric screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol level, BMI, tobacco use, and blood glucose level) and completion of a Health Risk Assessment as the basis for determining eligibility to receive discounts worth up to $600 annually on health insurance premiums.
This affects everyone who participates in our Riverside health insurance plans and covered spouses.
So, please note, health plan participants and covered spouses who are confirmed by Health Advocate as having completed the Physical Exam Verification Form, met the 30-point threshold, and completed the online HRA within 90 days of the start date of health insurance, will receive health premium discounts of up to $600 annually in 2013.
Our focus in 2013 will continue to be on offering wellness services designed around our employees' specific health risks. Look for more details on this program in early 2013. We believe a Healthy Lifestyle will benefit all of our employees and dependents and we encourage all team members to meet with their primary physician to review their health risk assessment.
If you have any questions or any hesitation about participating, please call our Total Rewards team at (757) 534-5281. You can also find complete information, including a video, by visiting My Healthy Lifestyle.
