Located in the picturesque and historic Northern Neck region, The Orchard provides three distinct levels of care: assisted living in Magnolia Manor; convalescent and skilled nursing/rehabilitation in Dogwood Manor, and specialized memory impaired care in The Garden.
Within Magnolia Manor, residents choose from a variety of spacious floor plans, each containing a kitchenette, ample closet space, climate-controlled air conditioning/heating & a ceiling fan. To personalize their apartment, residents bring their own furnishings; furnishing is provided for respite (short term) stays. Other amenities include a country kitchen, private dining room, activity room, beauty shop, fitness center, living room and television room.
Dogwood Manor is a 60-bed convalescent, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation center. Completely furnished accommodations include private and semi-private rooms with private baths. Residents who are receiving Medicare-skilled benefits participate in daily physical, occupational, or speech therapies under the direction of the Center’s specialized care team and the resident’s physician. An open and cheery dining room provides a delightful setting for meals and large activities.

The Garden was specially designed to accommodate individuals with mild to moderate memory impairment. The 20 private rooms feature private baths and access to walking areas, activity areas, and outdoor courtyards. Daily activities enable residents to participate as fully as possible with their personal needs and maintain as much independence as possible. Programming coordination with the local Alzheimer’s Association ensures that residents in The Garden have access to the latest information and treatment concerning Alzheimer’s disease.
