Full Time Rehabilitation or Clinical Psychologist
Located in a scenic waterfront community in historic southeast Virginia, Riverside Rehabilitation Institute ("RRI")
is looking for a rehabilitation or clinical psychologist to provide inpatient and outpatient services at Virginia's largest full-service physical rehabilitation facility.  As the only inpatient facility serving a regional community of over 1.5 million, our doctors specialize in the clinical assessment and intervention of patients with spinal cord injury, amputees and stroke. We provide outpatient services for those suffering from chronic pain, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders. As a member of our clinical team, you will also have the opportunity to provide consultation to our long term acute care hospital and supervise doctoral psychology students.

Riverside Rehabilitation Institute is CARF accredited in TBI and Stroke.  We are licensed by the State of Virginia and nationally accredited by two independent and respected organizations (Joint Commission, CARF).  The majority of our patients have conditions related to stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, general debilitation, neurological impairment, selected orthopedic diagnosis or amputation.  We are supported by a multidisciplinary medical group of over 350 physicians across nearly every specialty, a Level 2 Emergency and Trauma Center with certified stroke center designation, 24/7 emergency neurology, neurosurgical , orthopedic, heart  and general surgical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Phd in clinical/counseling/rehabilitation psychology
  • Completion of accredited APA clinical psychology internship
  • Licensed or license eligible in the State of Virginia
