Clinical Coordinator for Nursing Informatics
Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Newport News, VA has an exciting opening for a full time Clinical Coordinator for Nursing Informatics. In this role, you will be responsible for all clinical informatics within RRMC’s Perioperative Services by analyzing, designing, implementing, and evaluating information and communication systems that enhance health outcomes, improve patient care, and strengthen the clinician/patient relationship. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of Perioperative Services IT support systems, evaluating and refining when necessary the clinical processes around Perioperative Services IT support systems, assisting in the development, education, and implementation of changes and upgrades to Perioperative Services IT support system, and managing the continuous improvement of Perioperative Services Clinical Information Systems. As a clinical expert, you will ensure the provision of clinically competent services by validating staff competency in the provision of a comprehensive range of services/care in accordance with standards of excellence, age-specific and cultural sensitivity established by Riverside Health System and facility goals and strategic plans.
