Riverside Peninsula Vascular Surgery is currently recruiting for a full time Physician Assistance/Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will deliver health care to patients in collaboration with licensed physician(s). Candidate will see established and follow-up patients and work-up new patients with daily rounding on IP service.
EDUCATION: A Physician Assistant who has successfully completed a formal Physician Assistant education program (PA) or a credentialed nurse practitioner in good standing.
LICENSURE: If a Nurse Practitioner then position requires a Virginia Nurse Practitioner License. If a Physicians Assistant then position requires a current licensure and certification as required by the state to practice as a Physicians Assistant as well as a current BLS licensure.
EXPERIENCE: If a Nurse Practitioner then at least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred but not required.(Cardiovascular and/or surgical experience preferred). Does not require OR/Surgical care. If a Physician Assistant then two (2) years of related experience required.
HOURS: Monday thru Friday limited call and weekend requirements.
