Job Summary:Works with the supervision the practice physicians with supervision from Director. Responsible for health care of patients including but not limited to: comprehensive assessment of health problems, development of a plan of care including diagnostic testing and test evaluation and follow-up care. Care to include recommendations for chronic care management and promotion of health and healthy lifestyle. Responsible for the scheduling office visits to provide access of appointments and visit documentation completion. Maintains current knowledge of current evidence based medicine recommendations of quality care and disease prevention and coding. Demonstrate growth and development knowledge to meet the needs of the ages of patients served. Coordinates office manager and director the delivery of care with the supervision of a licensed physician to meet the needs of the patients and the community served by the office. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualified individual will provide services at Christopher Newport University health clinic as well as the Business Health clinic located on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center. Will provide care for sick visits and follow up on women care and asthma diagnosis. Employment physicals and work related injury care will also be provided.
Education: Credentialed nurse practitioner in good standing.
Licensure/Certification: Virginia Nurse Practitioner and licensed RN. New graduates please apply.
