SUMMARY: Works under the general supervision of the PACE Restorative Therapy Manager. Is responsible for carrying out individual and group wellness programming that will help PACE participants maintain physical and cognitive functions. Programs are established, monitored and changed only by licensed therapists but implemented by the Wellness Assistant. Assists Restorative Therapy Manager in ordering equipment and supplies for the department and for participants. Assists in administrative responsibilities within the therapy department. EDUCATION: Must be a Graduate of State of Virginia accredited Nurse Aide Training Program or an accredited Aide training program approved by the State of Virginia.
