Requirements/Qualifications

Current Virginia RN license, Successful completion of a formal Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner Education Program, Current Virginia license/ certification required by the state to practice as FNP Prescriptive authority in the state of Virginia, Demonstrated clinical competencies necessary to function independently in delivering efficient, and quality customer care. At least one year of current experience as a nurse practitioner and/or 5 years current experience as an RN practicing in an Emergencies Services environment. Candidates must also possess organizational, decision-making, and time management skills; charting and records management; interpersonal and communication skills; and the demonstrated capabilities to develop and maintain trusting, collaborative provider relationships as well as respectful, nurturing and compassionate customer relationships necessary to the delivery of excellent service to every customer every time.

Part-time position available for a RN in our Emergency Department.  Previous ED experience preferred.  Must have current licensure and BLS.  Hours are 7:00 a.m. -7:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. to include every other weekend.  (36 hours per payperiod).
