Riverside Health System is currently seeking a part-time Court Services Care Manager. The Court Services Care Manager supervises the juvenile and adult civil commitment process and the Judicial Authorization process at Riverside Behavioral Health Center. This role serves as the point of contact for CSBs, Hampton General District Court, law enforcement, and other mental health professionals. The position performs Utilization Review activities to include review of admissions and continued stay reviews for medical necessity, using approved criteria, completes all medical record documentation and other written assignments outlined in the department/hospital policy. This position must be able to provide therapeutic support to patients and their families through the assessment and commitment process. Continuity of care is ensured by providing copies of the aftercare plan to providers. ED Lead/Monitor Emergency Technician
Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, Charge Nurse, and the medical direction of the Emergency Department Physician. Is responsible for mointoring all alarms, call bells, and ambulance traffic that enters the ED. The Monitor Tech performs as a "charge tech" role within the department in conjunction with the lead physician and the charge nurse/clinical coordinator. Along with monitoring the cardiac monitor and alarms, the tech is responsible for answering and following up on all call bell alarms, answers and responds to the EMS radio with incoming patients, assigns them to a location within the department, and communicates with the team about the patients they should be expecting. Tech should be confortable with regional EMS protocols and guidelines. Monitor tech also controls traffic and bed placement when patients are placed in the internal waiting area. ED Support Services Tech
We are looking for dynamic Support Service Technician to join our Emergency Department at Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC). The Support Service Tech works under the supervision or the ED nurse manager and ED supervisor. This position performs routine and special blood collections according to established protocols and standard operation procedures. The position is also responsible for explaining specimen collection procedures and instructions to patients, nurses, physicians, etc. The SST may also be responsible for performing patients EKG's, ABG's, and placing patients on cardiac monitor. The SST must maintain patient confidentiality and properly identify patients according to guidelines set forth by the facility, (i.e. patient safety goals). This position performs routine and special blood collections according to established protocols and standard operation procedures.
