Medical interpreters work with limited English proficiency (LEP) and Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHOH) patients in our hospitals, physician's offices, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and mental health clinics within the health system. The Waitstaff works under the supervision of the Dining Room Supervisor/Manager, and under the general supervision the Department Director. Responsibilities include staying knowledgeable with current menus and exceeding service expectations for residents, guests and visitors. Adhering to policies and procedures for RHS, this facility and city and state regulatory requirements. Complete all duties assigned by supervisors. Maintain a working knowledge of the dietary restrictions and preferences of the clientele we serve. Show respect to all customers vendors and coworkers within the facility. Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.Certification: Food handler's card preferred.Experience: Customer service in a hospitality environment preferred. Previous work with older adults preferred.

Hours: Shifts could include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
