The Supply Chain Management OR Tech position provides materials management support for key Supply Chain activities and initiatives including receiving, warehouse, logistics and inventory management for the Riverside Health System. This position performs a wide range of duties as directed by the Supply Chain Management Coordinator/Supervisor necessary to coordinate purchasing, replenishment of stock supplies and inventory management for RHS. This individual will: Key and fill departmental requisitions/picklist/exchange carts daily. Pull and deliver material to the requesting user/department. Receive items into Lawson with special emphasis on stock items as priority. Validate items delivered against the worksheet/packing slip and Lawson. Break down stock into unit of issue and place items in proper storage area/par closet in a "FIFO" method. Extract critical reports and replenish all stock locations using handheld computer. Utilize the Lawson Materials Management Information System to key, extract information and print documents. Conduct periodic cycle counts with assistance from other Supply Chain Management staff. Record stock out/low level product situations as designated within storeroom. Pick and fill over the counter and departmental requisitions accurately. Fully cross train in all areas of the distribution process for the OR Storeroom and Central distribution and act as a backup when needed. Assist in other areas of Supply Chain Management as required and performs other assigned tasks as needed. EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED required.
