This position provides direction and leadership for key Supply Chain activities and initiatives including receiving, warehouse, logistics and inventory management for Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. This position performs a wide range of duties necessary to coordinate purchasing, ordering of stock supplies and inventory management for Riverside Regional Medical Center with support from the Materials Management Department. This individual will: Coordinate the procurement/expediting activities of all inventory items maintained at RRMC, and RPAND asset locations. Assists user departments with questions/problems regarding special orders. Provide MMIS computer entry of all stock issues, transfers and receipts. Conducts periodic cycle counts with assistance from other Materials Management staff. Interfaces with Accounts Payable department in reconciling purchase orders and vendor invoices as it relates to over-shipments and duplicate shipments. Pick and fill over the counter and departmental requisitions accurately. Maintain Par Ex system including par replenishment, stock level adjustments, item adds, new buttons and labels, and reporting for Nurse Managers. Responsible for the productivity of workers, reporting any and all deficiencies to the attention of his/her manager. Ensure all attendants follow established policies and procedures when processing goods received and distributed. During vacation, holiday or sick time, performs all duties of the Distribution/Receiving Attendant in maintaining the storeroom and par closets. Assists the Clinical Resource Manager and the Systems Analyst with special projects to promote the overall efficiencies of the storeroom to ensure quality patient care. Fully cross train in all areas of the distribution process for the OR Storeroom and Central distribution. Coordinate items to be added, deleted or charged to the Storeroom. Process all returns for the hospital. Coordinator is responsible for daily oversight of Material Management Tech at the facility. Assist in other areas of Materials Management as required and performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 3-4 years in inventory or supply room required.
