Team Leader, ER Patient Service Reps
Job Summary: Works under the direct supervision of the ER Nurse Manager and oversight of Revenue Cycle Manager. Responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the registration of all patient types and the clerical support functions of Patient Service Rep. Responsible for providing excellent customer service, participating in a team environment and working closely with management to improve processes. In addition to staff function the Team Lead will be responsible for daily operations of ER Patient Service Rep team to include: scheduling, timekeeping, performance management/development, team compliance with RHS policies, procedures and regulatory requirements , providing excellent customer service. Job Summary: This position works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurses and the under the direction of the NM, RN and LPN's. The Unit Secretary is responsible for customer service, chart management, retrieval of reports, and patient care duties. The Unit Secretary is also responsible for performing duties such as ordering supplies, order entry, filing of patient information and follow up to patients and physician offices, and other secretarial/clerical duties as directed. Education: High School diploma preferred. Certification: CPR required within one year and maintained thereafter. Experience: One year of secretarial experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
