Enrollment Coordinator

PACE, Program for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly, is a community-based program which provides patients with all necessary health services while they stay in their homes. JOB SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the physician and Surg Scheduling Supervisor and Practice Manager. Schedules surgery with patients. Posts surgery at designated hospitals. Transcriptionist
Works under the direct supervision of the office manager. The Transcriptionist transcribes physician practice transcription and other specified dictation as dictated by the Physicians, utilizing Microsoft Word and the Dictaphone system or works with the appropriate outside vendor. The Transcriptionist is responsible for making sure all transcription is reviewed, corrected and approved by the appropriate physician before forwarding on to the appropriate referring provider. The Transcriptionist is responsible for keeping accurate contact information on referring providers, researching unfamiliar words by whatever means in order to produce a high quality medical document and forwarding transcription to the appropriate providers by the following means, EMR, fax or mail.
