Job Summary: The CDI Director supports multiple acute care hospitals within the program for Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI). Under the direction of the System Director of Nutrition Services, the manager will develop, plan and execute the Clinical Nutrition Program for Riverside Health System. The role will maintain a highly visible presence in both the acute and lifelong health setting. Participation is expected in all components to ensure that the Nutrition Care Process and evidence based practices are in compliance with regulatory agencies including but not limited to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and CMS. Lead and direct responsibility for all regulatory readiness (acute and lifelong health) for clinical nutrition practices. Develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures for the health system. Maintain on-going quality initiatives and projects on an on-going basis so as to improve various aspects of resident and patient care while also helping to achieve positive productivity and financial results. A leader and mentor for RHS dietitians. Lead, develop and educates in conjunction with the System IT manager the Nutrition software platform/CBORD initiative for both clinical and food service practices.
