The Communications Manager works under Supervision of the Health Communications Director. Partners with the Call Service Management Team to facilitate and maximize call handling in the professional world class customer service center that serves Riverside Health System. To develop 24/7 timely services that are facilitated with standardized written procedures that enhances competency for console and system operators ability to provide ease of access to Riverside Health System MDs, Leadership, Staff and Riverside Health System services. Inpatient Care Coordination Manager
Riverside Regional Medical Center is seeking a full time Inpatient Care Coordination Manger. The Inpatient Care Coordination Manager directs, designs, manages, monitors and evaluates all operational functions and activities of the Inpatient Care Management team by guiding, coaching, educating and supporting staff. The Pant Operations Director is responsible to executive leadership for the organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating Plant Operations, building projects, building maintenance security and disaster preparedness. Riverside Health System located in Newport News, VA is seeking a full time Reimbursement Manager to lead our accounting team. This individual works under the supervision of the Director, Budget, Reimbursement & Tax. The Reimbursement Manager is responsible for the accurate preparation of the Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, monthly computation of third-party allowances and deductions from revenue, annual Virginia Health Information reports and other reimbursement and statistical information for special financial reports/surveys. The Manager is responsible for the direction of the staff while completing these processes and assuring that the deadlines are met. The Manager works with the employees in the Budget, Reimbursement & Tax section and directs the necessary assignments in order to assure the smooth operation of these processes. The Manager also performs other duties as they are assigned. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration or Finance with a complimenting minor (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, or an MBA. Certification/Licensure Requirements: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or Fellow HFMA (Hospital Financial Management Association) preferred Experience Requirements: Three years prior experience as a Healthcare Accountant required with demonstrated ability in managing and improving processes and meeting critical deadlines as well as using seasoned judgment in accounting determinations. Riverside Health System is currently seeking Social Work Manager for our PACE Petersburg Center in Petersburg, Virginia. PACE is a Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. PACE is a community-based alternative to placing loved ones in an Assisted Living facility or a Nursing Home. PACE empowers participants to remain in their homes by providing comprehensive medical and social services. The program enhances quality of life for family members and care givers through support services and peace of mind. The Social Work Manager works under the general supervision of the PACE Site Director. The Social Work Manager conducts initial assessments with potential participants in the home or in the center. The Social Work Manager completes Mini Mental Status Exam and Geriatric Depression testing during initial assessment and every six months; Responsible for reporting departments activities for monthly report; tracks advance directive information; manages social workers case load and assigns participants to specific workers; facilitates caregiver support group bi-monthly; provides supportive therapy services to participants and/or caregivers; Is a member of the IDT and attends daily meetings; Communicates concerns regarding behaviors, mental health status and/or changes in participants presentation to PACE Medical Director and/or psychiatrist for follow up; participates in PACE on call rotation. Manages budget for social services and orders materials/supplies for department. Manages social work staff; performs all other duties as defined in social work job description to include the following: Assesses participants psychosocial needs and interests; develops a care plan for assisting participants and participant family members in adjusting to the PACE program and meeting their psychosocial needs and interests. Makes monthly contact with participants and/or caregivers; educates families on process of disease; facilitates communication between participant/family; coordinates community resources; assist with crisis intervention for participants and caregivers; competes respite requests for caregivers; assist with admission paperwork to convalescent or assisted living facilities; completes Auxiliary grant applications; assist families with Medicare/Medicaid re-determination; assists with completion of Advance Directives; follows social work care plan; accompanies participants to outside appointments; completes re-assessments every 6 months or more as needed; assists with discharge planning; attends caregiver support groups; completes documentation as per PACE guidelines; acts as a resource to staff. EDUCATION Masters degree in Sociology or Social Work (MSW). LICENSURE Current, valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required upon hire and to be maintained during employment. Must also have reliable transportation to make visits to patient homes each day. Licensed Clinical Social Worker a plus. CPR Certification and First Aid training required and must be maintained current throughout employment. EXPERIENCE Two years previous social work experience in a healthcare setting with at least one year experience working with a frail or elderly required. HOURS To work primarily Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Additional hours as needed to meet the needs of the center and participants.
