Riverside Health System, a progressive and comprehensive nonprofit community healthcare organization in eastern Virginia, is seeking executive candidates for the role of Chief Operating Officer for our premiere division of Lifelong Health and Aging Related Services, a multifacility operation providing senior living and health care services consisting of 3 CCRC's, 5 Nursing Homes and 2 ALF/CC campuses.  Through these facilities we provide aging related services to include 807 nursing home beds, 247 AL units , 42 units for care of memory impaired, and 349 units for independent living. 

The COO will plan, develop and implement strategy for operational leadership to meet goals and initiatives established for the Division as well as meet Riverside Health System (RHS) goals under our strategic focus areas.  Additionally the COO will provide strategy for the development of goals to include market share growth, new product/service development, facility expansion, culture change in our licensed nursing facilities, cutting edge services for seniors, wellness, quality and other initiatives supporting the RHS mission regarding senior services.  Oversees the Facility Administrators/Executive Directors and ensures they meet operational, quality, customer and employee satisfaction, financial and regulatory compliance benchmarks.  Monitors performance indicators and reports to the Sr. Vice President of RHS and the division's Board of Directors.  Responsible for budget, legal and regulatory compliance, organizational development, capital improvements and overall operation of the Division.

Director Peninsula Surgery Center - Newport News
Riverside seeks an experienced Director for this freestanding, multi-specialty, 4 operating rooms, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Peninsula Surgery Center, located in Newport News, Virginia. The Director has the authority and responsibility for the administrative and clinical activities/programs/services related to patient care and business operations. The Director utilizes clinical and management expertises to develop, implement, and evaluate effective patient care delivery systems for assigned units and services. Ensures the quality of patient care provided on assigned units/services. The position encompasses, but is not limited to, area specific and department wide administration, management, collaboration, education, and research. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Administration required and a Master’s Degree in Science/Management desirable. Commensurate experience considered in lieu of a degree. Director of Activities Sanders

Director of Food Production Services Riverside Health System
Responsible to oversee the daily operation of approximately 18 production team members. Coordinate staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations and other H.R. responsibilities in accordance with Riverside policy. Responsible to maintain food safety in accordance with HACCP procedures and adhere to all local, state, federal and Riverside guidelines. The director will conduct regular meetings with customers to solicit feedback support and develop new ideas for products offered. Manager, Asst Accounts Payable Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC)
Riverside Health System is currently seeking a Full Time Asst Manager, Accounts Payable. Works under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager. The Asst Manager will assist with work schedules, employee evaluations, and resolve employee complaints. Additionally, the Asst Manager is responsible for the quality of work, the productivity of the group, the morale of the work group, the expense (labor and capital) for the area, the working relationship with other departments, and employee adherence to hospital and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines. The Asst Manager is responsible for the timely payment of bills, maintenance of files to easily obtain accounting documentation, establish appropriate cotnrols over the payment of invoices for goods and services, and provide General Accounting with accurate information for the preparation of monthly and year end accruals, and provide vendors with appropriate tax information. Experience with Database report writers required. Materials Services Supervisor Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC)
Riverside Health System is currently seeking a full-time Materials Services Supervisor to work in our Materials Management Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the coordination of all activities involved in the procurement, storage, disbursement and collection of Just in Time, stock and non-stock supplies. Works with the Inventory Control/Special Projects manager to maintain accurate inventory levels at all asset locations. In addition, works collaboratively with the Material Services Coordinators, Inventory Control Tech and Stock Buyer to provide supplies to the Nursing Par Closets on a JIT basis while reducing central distribution inventory and maintaining the desired service level. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of four (4) to five (5) years experience in a supervisory role. Prior experience in a healthcare facility supply area, utilizing an automated Materials Management Information System is required. Associates degree with a concentration in one or more of the following areas; Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred. A thorough knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, and modern healthcare related material-handling systems is required. Proficient in the use of PC based spreadsheets, database and word processing packages desired. Proven ability to supervise and direct departmental employees, as well as to interface effectively with all levels of the staff. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Candidates must be able to understand access and interpret information from the MMIS, calculate unit of issue, EOQ's, ROP's, safety stock and critical point for each stock item. Site Director PACE
