Peninsula Parkinson's Support Group
The Peninsula Parkinson's Support Group is your chance to have a voice about your life with Parkinson's in a setting where you can feel safe, confident and understood. It's an opportunity to share your story, with all its achievements, challenges, hopes and frustrations, while you also experience new coping strategies and learn about the latest in research and treatment.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
In October, instead of our regular meeting, we will be going to Richmond for the Parkinson's Disease Community Education Day on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Riverside will provide a 35-passenger minibus this year to transport folks to and from the event in Richmond. To reserve a seat on the motor coach, please contact Sandy Snapp at (757) 534-5837.
Because of the date of the Richmond trip, there will not be a regular October meeting. With the holidays approaching, we will be off in November and December. But we will look forward to seeing you in the New Year on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
When: Our regular meetings are the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Neurosciences Conference Room, Riverside Medical Office Building, 12200 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23601
