Riverside Convalescent Center – Hampton has been selected for First Place recognition for the 2005 D. A. “Woody” Brown Community Involvement Awards in the category of Year Round Program. The award is presented by the Virginia Health Care Association (VHCA), a statewide long-term healthcare association that represents about 90% of the nursing facilities in Virginia as well as a growing number of assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities. The honor acknowledges exceptional programs that benefit residents and the community at large.

This prestigious award was presented at the VHCA Annual Awards Luncheon at The Greater Richmond Convention Center on Tuesday, September 20.
